Drinking Water

    The U. S. Naval Academy is supplied with drinking water by the Water Treatment Plant located near Perry Center Apartments. The Naval Station receives its drinking water from Anne Arundel County. In accordance with Safe Drinking Water Act, the Naval Academy regularly tests the water for contaminants covered by the Primary Drinking Water Regulations. The Maryland Department of the Environment, Public Drinking Water Program sets the monitoring and reporting requirements for the Naval Academy Water Treatment Plant. The monitoring schedule for the Naval Academy is as follows:
